Literally so fire. We had the best server humanly possible. This establishment deserves a Michelin star and million dollars into every workers pockets. Such a nice calm vibe. Very welcoming and very efficient. 10/10

Mitte is the perfect place for a relaxed brunch. The food is always amazing (and comes out quickly), and the staff are absolutely incredible- an especial shout out to Helen who was so so lovely and took such great care of us! Thanks to the Mitte team for creating such a lovely local gem

It might be cold and dark in Melbourne but not in Mitte if Helen is working. Amazing food (had the zucchini fritters, oat cap and hot choc) and spectacular service. I will be recommending to everyone. Thank you specifically to Helen for brightening my weekend.

You will leave with a full tummy and a full heart In the quiet pocket of Fitzroy North and only a short walk to Edinburgh Gardens, Mitte offers plenty of dog friendly outdoor tables, where on a nice day you can enjoy the warmth of sun on your face, or find umbrella cover if you so desire. On cooler days, there are cosy inside tables where you can forget about the outside chill and feel as though you’re in a blissful bubble. You will be greeted by genuine, kind, friendly staff who are happy to guide you through the menu and who truly care for and appreciate their customers and community. The menu, oh the menu So many delightful options it is difficult to choose; even for a vegans or vegetarians. Quality, hearty, delicious food, that even when full, leaves you wanting more. They also have a convenient cabinet of pastries or toasted sandwiches if you do not wish to sit down. Parking wise, I’ve never struggled to find one in the vicinity, be it weekday or weekend. So grateful for this gem of a cafe and the beautiful people bringing their quality food, coffee and service to the community. Thank you

A hidden gem that I'm glad we discovered on the final day of our holiday The food was filling and super tasty and such a good price. It’s a very popular cafe but they still manage to serve promptly. Highly recommended

Stopped by this nice little local gem. Hidden away in a community and can feel that this place is mostly visited by locals. What I had: - coffee (average) - egg scramble (liked the spicy addition to it, bread was a little overdone) - baked chickpeas (similar to a baked eggs, was good but felt like it was missing some key ingredient to bring it more to life) Overall, a very cute little place to visit and recommend stopping by and feel like one of the locals.
